Zenzap Pricing Explained (2026): Plans, HIPAA, and What a Small Office Pays

Short answer

As of November 2026, Zenzap's Business+ plan is $50 total a month for up to 5 users with the annual toggle selected by default, and the Lite plan (chat without AI) is $51 total a month for up to 20 users. The HIPAA catch: HIPAA compliance and a signed BAA are a separate add-on, and Zenzap does not publish its price. Prices change, so verify on zenzap.co before you buy.

Every plan and price

Zenzap is WhatsApp-style business chat with AI agents that act inside conversations, built-in to-dos and checklists, scheduled messages, voice and video calls on paid plans, and a tool that migrates WhatsApp chats. It has a Medical vertical page and sells mainly to small and mid-size businesses with frontline teams. Here is what its pricing page showed in November 2026.

The fine print

  • The $50 and $51 prices appear with the annual billing toggle selected by default. The page text does not show a separate monthly rate, so budget for a year.
  • Business+ is priced only for 'Up to 5 users'. The 20, 50 and 100-user tiers show 'Book a Demo', so a 6-person office cannot read its price off the page.
  • HIPAA compliance and a signed BAA are an add-on, not part of any plan, and the add-on price and base-plan eligibility are not published.
  • The free plan has unlimited users but only 1 GB of storage; an 'Additional Storage' add-on exists.
  • External guests do not count toward user limits, according to the FAQ.
  • The trust center lists encryption at rest; the compliance documents behind the SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA badges are gated.

What a 5-person and a 15-person practice would pay

TeamPlanMonthlyPer yearPlus
5 peopleBusiness+$50$600 (annual billing default)HIPAA add-on, price not published
5 peopleLite (no AI)$51$612HIPAA add-on, price not published
15 peopleBusiness+ ('Up to 20 users')Not publishedNot published'Book a Demo', then the HIPAA add-on
15 peopleLite (up to 20 users)$51$612HIPAA add-on, price not published

Two honest notes. For 5 people, Business+ works out to $10 a head before the add-on. For 15 people on Lite, it is $3.40 a head, which is competitive with per-user tools, as long as you do not need the AI features and the add-on quote comes back reasonable. The number you cannot compute is the only one that matters for a clinic: the HIPAA add-on.

HIPAA and the BAA: what it costs or requires

Start with the term. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is the contract HIPAA requires before a vendor may store protected health information (PHI) for you, PHI being anything that identifies a patient and relates to their care. Zenzap's pricing page sells 'HIPAA Compliance + Signed BAA' as an add-on 'for teams handling protected health information', and its FAQ says the add-on is available by contacting sales. That is the only written HIPAA text we found; the homepage shows a HIPAA badge without a written claim.

Before you sign, ask sales for the add-on price in writing, which base plans qualify, whether audit logs (listed on Enterprise) come with the add-on, and what encryption in transit looks like, since the trust center names encryption at rest only. A BAA is required before PHI goes in (45 CFR 164.502(e)), so do not run patient chatter on the free plan while you wait for the quote.

How Yodl's flat price compares

Zenzap Business+Yodl Team
5 people$50 a month (annual default) plus unpriced HIPAA add-on$10 a month, BAA included
15 peopleNot published ('Book a Demo'), plus add-on$30 a month ($10 plus 10 extra users at $2), BAA included

AIAI agents and credits includedOptional PhiClaw AI teammate, not in the $10 plan

Pick Zenzap if your staff want the WhatsApp feel, the to-dos and AI agents, or voice and video calls, and you have a budget for the add-on. Pick Yodl if you want Slack-style channels and threads with the BAA on day one at a flat $10, and you can live without calls and with 20 GB. The full comparison is at Yodl vs Zenzap, and Yodl's numbers are on the pricing page: $10 a month for 5 people, signed BAA.

Key takeaway

Zenzap's $50 for 5 users is the same $10 a head as Yodl, but the BAA is an unpriced add-on and the 15-person price is a demo request. Get the add-on quote in writing before you compare.
