A flat $20 a month adds a REST API, webhooks and bot users to your workspace, so bookings, forms, sensors and your billing tool can talk to the team where the team already is.
Incoming webhooks
Send a JSON payload and it appears as a message in the channel you choose. New booking, form submitted, fridge temperature out of range, invoice paid.
Outgoing webhooks
Get notified when a message is posted or someone is mentioned in a channel you select, so your own tools can react.
Bot users
A bot has its own name and credential, can be added to channels, and can post, reply in threads and attach files. Rotate or revoke the credential at any time.
Channels and members
Create channels, add and remove members, set roles, read channel history for your own records.
Files
Upload and download attachments through the API, with the same 20 GB per location included in your plan.
Exports
Pull message history and the audit log for your records, retention policy or a compliance review.
A booking alert, end to end
Your booking system sends this to your Yodl webhook. The front desk sees it in #front-desk a second later. No patient details need to travel: a time, a provider and a room are enough for the team, and the chart stays in the EHR.

Access and limits
- $20 a month per workspace, flat, regardless of locations or users. Add it on the pricing page or later from your admin panel.
- Bearer keys scoped to your workspace. Rotate or revoke anytime; every call is in the audit log.
- The API respects channel membership: a bot sees only the channels it was added to.
- Your key, the reference documentation and example requests are emailed when the add-on is activated, usually within one business day.

Is the API included in the $10 plan?
No. API access is a $20 a month add-on per workspace. Everything else in Yodl is included in the $10 plan.
Does the API cost more with more users?
No. $20 a month flat for the workspace, however many locations or users you have.
Can I send patient information through a webhook?
Only after your BAA is signed, and only what the team needs. We recommend keeping chart details in your EHR and sending the minimum necessary to chat.
Is there a sandbox?
Yes. Ask for a sandbox workspace when your key is issued and test without touching your real channels.
